DTE Energy Foundation is the philanthropic branch of DTE Energy. DTE Energy recognizes the need to invest in the future, even in these difficult economic times. The foundation generously gives out money to various organizations to help ensure that the future is always fueled with minds capable of improving our world.

Gerdau Steel

Gerdau is the leading company in the production of long steel in the Americas and one of the major suppliers of specialty long steel in the world. Gredau has provided us with two of there workers from the steel foundry and from the human resources divisions. Gerdau is also giving us sponsorship money for our group.

GM

GM is one of the big three auto makers in the United States. While they took a big hit during the recent recession, they are coming back strong, with many new technologies being integrated into their vehicles. MTR is proud to be sponsored by such a strong company. Thanks to GM, we are now attending all qualifying events with entry fees paid. GM also graciously donated $4000 to us to attend the Michigan State Championship in the 2010 season.

Monroe High School

Monroe High School has by far been our largest supporter. MTR has been based at Monroe High School for our entire existence. MHS has allowed us to use so many of their resources and also allowed members from other schools. We are proud to be Trojans!
